Our Committment To Excellence...

"Committed to Excellence" is not just a catch-phrase at Librandi's. Capital investments in the laboratory and the state-of-the-art waste water treatment system have already yielded benefits in the areas of cost savings and quality improvements. Statistical Process Control, daily and weekly analysis of the tanks and continuous processing of the rinse waters places Librandi's far above its competitors in the decorative chrome arena. In addition, Librandi's has its own fleet of trucks to effectively deliver finished parts to industrial customers in a timely manner.
More About Us...

Librandi's Plating & Machine, located near the Harrisburg International Airport, employs 60 associates whose primary purpose is to serve you, the customer, for all your decorative chrome needs.

It was in 1972 that Tom Librandi opened a machine shop that to this day specializes in giving the customer exactly what he wants: a part that meets the print at a fair and reasonable price. Then, in 1982, the first parts were chrome plated at Librandi's. That facility was located approximately ½ mile from our current location. Our 93 Airport Drive building was completed in May of 1995 and currently houses the decorative chrome lines, polishing departments, rack manufacturing and machining centers. This 50,000 square-foot modern facility has allowed us to expand our substrate competencies; that is, we can prepare and plate any and all of the following materials: steel, stainless, aluminum, zinc, brass, copper, and pot metal.

As a leading supplier to Fortune 500 companies, we have experienced explosive growth. We are manufacturers of special application machinery for the electronics, medical, dental and candy industries. We also plate parts for a major motorcycle manufacturer as well as suppliers to the same. It is this expertise that will propel Librandi's into the 21st century.
